In order for your youth court volunteers
to participate in the Getting the Most Out of the Deliberation
Process Internet lessons, you must create an Administrative
Access Area. By creating an Administrative Access Area and
a Profile, you will be able to:
Sign-up your
youth court volunteers to take the lesson(s).
You can also
delete volunteers from the lesson(s).
Be assigned
a volunteer access code that you will have to provide
to youth who will be taking the lesson(s). Volunteers
will not be able to access the lessons without your volunteer
access code.
View the results
of your volunteers' lessons online in your private administrative
access area. You can also choose whether you want to receive
the results of your volunteers' lessons by e-mail. Having
the ability to view volunteers' results allows you to
know if and when a volunteer completes a lesson(s), as
well as gives you an opportunity to see how they scored
and discuss the results with the volunteer.
To make this lesson more effective for
your volunteers, make sure you:
1. Provide each of your youth volunteers
that are assigned to take the lesson(s) your Volunteer
Access Code. This will be generated automatically
when you complete the registration process.
2. If your youth court has specific
sentencing guidelines that you want your youth volunteers
to use when determining an appropriate disposition in the
lesson(s), please provide that to them before they take
the lesson.
Please complete the from below to
create your personal administrative access area.
